DSL.Blinkie.Blinkie
I'm back after a week long silence. The DSL light on my router-modem has been blinking for the past few days. Called up TM Streamyx and they managed to fix it for a while before the problem re-surfaced again. I wonder what's going on as I seem to experience the same problem every now and then. Maybe it is a loose cable or something...

I got it much earlier and just double confirm whether you are having the same problem.
For my case, when the DSL *blink blink*, even if I plug out the phone line, it still *blink*. If this is your problem as well, most likely it's the splitter problem (if you are using splitter for your phoneline).
Solution : Off your modem, plug in the line directly to your modem without a splitter.
Once it's ok, you can use your splitter again.

The DSL light is supposed to go blinkie blinkie when there is no signal from the line. There is nothing wrong with my splitter.
The problem is always fixed after I lodge a report and they fix it on their side.
ok. seems like it's a different problem then ... :)
