This is the most exhausting day in the whole of Tech.Ed. Six sessions one-after-another in a day - maximum feed! *Blitz* *blitz* I can feel my wires short-circuiting already. Got an apple from the HP booth today. Apple as in the apple apple and not the Apple Macintosh apple.
Too stressful to catchup with the sessions. Had to hang-out in the INETA booth after lunch and try my luck with that Iverson safe. D*mn! Can't open it again! Went over to the Nota Asia booth to say "Hi" to a few friends. Autographs were at peak today.
Howard, the Southeast Asia MVP Lead, has invited all the local MVPs for dinner today for a muhibbah. Everyone was to meet at the main lobby after the last session. One delegate got lucky and got all our signatures at one go! So, we decided to run and hide inside the Italian restaraunt where we will have our dinner.
The dinner also clashed with the Architects dinner. I had to inform Aaron Tan that I cannot attend :( It was good to know more about how each of us felt as a MVP during the dinner. Several issues and ideas were raised. Bernard was puffing away on ciggarettes and commenting with his English accent - a bit unnatural to me :p
I can't comment much on the food. It tasted ok but the portions were small. We had a group photo taken after dinner but the photographs didn't turn out well :'( Later, we moved up one floor to play pool.
I wasn't that excited because I wasn't a party girl. So, I sat in a corner and chatted with Yik Joon, Architect Evangelist from Singapore. Initially, we were talking about the architects in Malaysia but later in turned out to be a Paladin demo on WeiMin's Tablet PC. And it also got Yuri's attention.
Azali also came over to look, "So this is Paladin. Interesting", he said. Suresh come over and said, "Eh! Don't code, come play pool". WeiMin said the famous phrase, "I downloaded it but I got no time to look at it".
Yik Joon ran through my codes briefly to understand what I was doing. Although my work is nothing big compared to what they do in Microsoft, but Yik Joon and Yuri did say it was a good effort. And that's all I need - appreciation.
Me, Azali and WeiMin left the hotel at 10:30pm and it was a long journey home for me but then - no congestion. Yeah! Yeah!
